MaxiCaps are a unique new housing design
concept from Sartorius that brings the
benefits of single use filter elements to
process scale. The incorporation of standard
filter cartridges into self contained, high,
quality polypropylene housings makes it
possible to operate large scale filter installations
without the need for filter housings.
Applications
Sartofluor LG MaxiCaps improve the process
security of sterile filtration of aggressive
media (acids and bases) and solvents. There
is no need to open the filter housing after
filtration. The capsule design allows filtration
of such media without any handling of the
contaminated filter cartridge
post use.
