In co-operation with BBI and the Research Center of Bioprocess Engineering and Analytical Techniques at the University of Applied Sciences Hamburg a novel apparatus and an automation technique for Integrated Bioprocessing have been developed for the production of recombinant products with the yeast Pichia pastoris.

  Both components are integrated into the measurement and control    operations of the fermentor control unit DCU
  The control system MFCS/win can be used for host supervisory    operation purposes.
